Labstat Working Toward Voluntary OECD GLP Recognition in 2024
Toward the end of 2022, as part of our continuous improvement process, Labstat made the decision to separate our GLP Toxicology methods into “OECD methods” (which are used for FDA and OECD submissions) and “Health Canada” methods. At the same time, we made improvements to our client reports, making them more user friendly, introduced digital data collection, reviewed and streamlined our QA processes, and reduced our turnaround times.
Due to the complex nature of this process, we felt it appropriate to temporarily withdraw from the voluntary OECD GLP recognition program until the work was completed. We are pleased to announce that we are now in the process of compiling our submission file to reapply for the voluntary recognition and expect to have this in place within the second half of 2024.
In the meantime, we will continue to adhere to both the “OECD” and “FDA” GLP guidelines for all our toxicology services (Ames, NRU, MLA, MN and the ToxTracker series of assays) with enhanced service levels. Please feel free to discuss your Toxicology requirements with our technical experts by contacting CPD_TOX_MICRO@labstat.com.
