Milestone strengthens support for regulatory-ready nicotine and tobacco product evaluation during Labstat’s 50th anniversary year.
KITCHENER, Ontario – May 21, 2026 – Labstat Inc., a Certified Group company and the world’s largest independent nicotine, tobacco, and nicotine contract research organization (CRO), announced today that it has been formally recognized as a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) compliant facility under the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Principles of GLP through the Standards Council of Canada (SCC).
The recognition follows a comprehensive SCC inspection and reflects Labstat’s commitment to scientific rigor, quality systems, data integrity, and regulatory excellence. The certificate was issued May 13, 2026, with initial recognition dated May 4, 2026.

OECD GLP recognition helps ensure the consistency, reliability, quality, and integrity of non-clinical laboratory studies used to support regulatory submissions worldwide.
